TPD make second arrest in double homicide; and arrest suspect for June 30 murder

Police have arrested the second suspect in the Lansingburgh double homicide at around 9:30 p.m. and also made an arrest in the June murder of Robert Rivera.
Earlier today, Troy Police arrested one of the suspects in the Aug. 20 brutal murder of Al and Maria Lockrow in Schenectady. They arrested the second suspect in Lansingburgh.
Rivera, 54, was murdered on June 30 in his 603 Second Ave. home.
Al and Maria Lockrow were beaten to death shortly after 2 a.m. in their 709 First Ave. home. Al Lockrow was declared dead at the scene. Maria succumbed to her injuries shortly after authorities arrived.
Friday, police recovered the couple’s stolen 2013 Ford Escape SUV.
The identities of the suspects in custody are not known at this time.
Mayor Lou Rosamilia has a press conference slated for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Troy Police Department.

  5. Great job, just goes to show we have a lot of talent in our police department. Maybe we should try and work together instead of tearing everything down in Troy. Great job , Chief.
